It is a form of hatha yoga, that emphasises the physical alignment on the poses (asanas), creating a sense of balance and lightness. Iyengar Yoga practice uses props (if needed) such us blocks, bolsters, blankets, belts, chairs and other props. The purpose of the props is to assist the clilent in attaining ideal alignment and optimal physical and physiological benefits from the asanas (poses). These classes are available one on one or for small groups.
